    GNG / CYC X1 Pro 3000w

Anyone who has Phase runner (upgraded Bac 800) which is only 50A max., will be able to compare it with stock 72V controller when CYC ships it out.

    Direct-Drive conversion of the new GNG/cycmotor X1-pro 3000w

What is your reduction ratio? 12T front 36T rear (41mm\123mm effective diameter)? Your max. speed with this setup theoretically +80km\h? For the highest efficiency you'll have to spin your motor at the max. rpm as well, considering 20S voltage. Taking into account wind resistance, very seldom...

    GNG / CYC X1 Pro 3000w

Perhaps motor set a bit noisier with 20S controller due to higher rpm than with 16S. First 20S controller should have an advantage over the 16S being more efficient, as always with higher voltage and lower amps. Cyc promise to update 20S display in a future.

    GNG / CYC X1 Pro 3000w

Btw, at facebook page GNG says CYC Motor is their partner company. Gng 3000w new cyclone kit is more efficient, almost 90%. Is that real number for mid-drive?

Hi Crossbreak. Can you read my PM? They hasn't been sent from Outbox for unknown reasons.

New Approach to 4500W Mid Drive

Before you wrote the gear set is capable 160NM. Any deadlines when the mid drive set will be made? Do you prefer making it for yourself only or as GB?

New Approach to 4500W Mid Drive

Perhaps better to use APS8072 50KV for enough power without too much heat build up. With planetary reduction gear you can reconsider belt drive or direct belt left side drive. Also freewheel should be implemented to the motor. Chain combined with planetary gear will produce too much noise from...

Triangle Battery Pack Design Architecture Configuration

Hi. I've designed some examples of triangle battery for my ebike project. Please give me your thoughts which variant is the best for current sharing and reliability. Sorry for the ugly pics, at least they are comprehensible. Thanks.

    GNG / CYC X1 Pro 3000w

they want you personally to declare the value and pay a tax for imported goods. You should say it's a sample or gift to avoid it if motor comes with the same supporting documents :) Waiting for your first impressions btw.

    Direct-Drive conversion of the new GNG/cycmotor X1-pro 3000w

Hi Crossbreak. Will you send me CAD drawing for this project? Using 13 - 14T front sprocket result in even lower speed than with 18T you are currently using if rear sprocket remains the same. To raise the speed ScooterMan need to lower teeth count on rear cog or raise them on front cog or both...

    Direct-Drive conversion of the new GNG/cycmotor X1-pro 3000w

I'm going to use Cube Hyde Pro frame for this project. Is it stiff enough? We can use 8M15 belt, but will it survive with 180nm of torque? I guess belt drive is superior to chain drive in any way if it's done properly, considering also zero noise level from belt. Chain 18T-36T reduction to belt...

    Direct-Drive conversion of the new GNG/cycmotor X1-pro 3000w

With Gear version you will need a motor chainring instead of gear pulley. What type will give 60-80km/h: 11T, 22T with 20S battery and 36T sprocket 29" wheels? Cycmotor advised 12500 motor rpm with 20S battery. You mentioned gear ver. has a freewheel in right direction. In chain ver. motor...

    Direct-Drive conversion of the new GNG/cycmotor X1-pro 3000w

If I have 5-6mm clearance from my caliper to spokes of rearwheel, will your adapter fit to my setup? Why do you want it without built-in freewheel (with X1 built-in freewheel) as was shown in post by ScooterMan101 » Dec 09 2018 8:03am? This chainwheel will be spinning all the time you ride...

    GNG / CYC X1 Pro 3000w

Another reason of the similar torque values of X1 and BBSHD could be that BBSHD torque is not correct. I think 160 N-M for 1KW motor is overestimated for sure. In other words, it's 64kg of downforce on a 30.5cm lever. X1 should be more than twice powerfull against the stock BBSHD in side-by-side...

    GNG / CYC X1 Pro 3000w

As you say it should have a bit more peak torque but more than twice of current consumption. Does it mean X1-Pro is not as efficient as BBSHD which can output the same torque with 30amps of current? Or perhaps X1 peak torque achieved only at 3KW power consumption with very high rpm at cranks...

    GNG / CYC X1 Pro 3000w

So, with the same rpm at cranks as BBSHD it will have similar power level as well as torque?

    GNG / CYC X1 Pro 3000w

Could anybody enlighten me how this motor set can have almost the same torque as stock BBSHD but to be more than twice powerful by perception, not only by watt numbers?

How To, 50A BBSHD Controller Mod

Perhaps someone would be willing to make a schematic (some kind of reverse engineering) for controller pcb, than we will know for sure if everything else goes through the display and then to a voltage regulator on the main board. I would do it if I had the board. Fechter, have you tried your...

How To, 50A BBSHD Controller Mod

We can't be sure for smd caps. 63V is a standard rating voltage for them, while 80V isn't. Smd transistors, diodes should be rated 90V or higher. All of the stuff on the pcb should receive full voltage potential unless there are components in the circuit set to maintain it at lower range. Btw...

How To, 50A BBSHD Controller Mod

What about other smd passive and active components on the pcb? Are they 100V rated?
