anyone here done CYC X1 Pro Gen 2 to Gen 3 full upgrade?

I asked CYC about the upgrade and they send me a pdf guide that lists as needed: • Controller • BT Speed Sensor + Magnet • Gen 3 Torque Sensor • Freewheel 2.0 • Bottom Bracket • ISIS Crank Arms This is for upgrading to the new controller and ISIS BB. Upgrading the motor itself is something...

    CYC Pro Gen1 Belt drive

Cyc x1 pro gen 2 belt drive conversion?

I copied Universalus's ideas about the belt drive: It still needs more tinkering and a diet. I don't understand how the chain tensioner can be noisy other than with faulty bearing. Unless it was assembled wrong and something else than the tensioner wheel is touching the chain.

For this bike the lighter motor weight, price or battery consumption doesn't make that much difference. At least...

    CYC X1 Stealth (NEW)

I have the Pro and it seems that when pedaling you can't use much more than 1000W. Maybe more on steep uphills or with long gearing on the streets going way over 30km/h, but mostly it stays under 1000W. And still you're moving with a very good pace for a bicycle.
