    That's to much voltage for me at the moment. My setup is 36v 250w and its running OK. I just hate having to charge each pack separately oh well I guess if I can find a 10s BMS I'll be OK. I only paid 20$ each battery.

    The caps are 50 volt. But I have another controller I ordered. I'm so hyped up about building my battery I can't wait. I'm also ordering a BMS after I get my packs. I can't wait to put it all together.

    I tested the batteries I'm getting on one I had with the cordless weed whacker and yes the batteries built in BMS lvc does work. Verified after it stopped I opened it up checked cell voltage and it was 3.2v per cell.

    if i use a 24 volt controller with 36 volts the lvc will be very low and could ruin the battery if im not carefull correct. but the batterys im putting together have built in bms they are a copy of the yardworks batteries 20v 6ah lithiOn so you are probably right about just getting a quality 24...

    I'm getting 7.5 miles @ 14-16 mph the battery the guy put in it was 7cell lipo 5000 may hobby king battery's 5ah is wimpy I need 12 ah I'm getting lazy and tired.     I'm gonna see if there's any info on the cells them selves. I'm really hoping I can make a decently quick ebike with these. I'm aiming for 36 volt controller running a 24 volt 250 watt hub geared motor. Its running on 7cell lipo now and hits 16 mph. I just want to hit 20-22 that's all.
