Did any of the people who received your shim install it yet? I am very interested in the results.

That is a really great (and great looking) build, scaniac. You implemented some very nifty solutions. Thanks for the detailed write-up. If the wires are bothering you this wireless project might be up your alley for a future update.

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (r0mko fork, torque only)

HughF, I see you're now using Casainho et al.'s version 1.0.0. Do the recent changes bring it close(r) to this fork?

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Great work r0mko! I have just given it a short test drive and it does exactly what is on the tin. It also works very well with the 'Street Mode' introduced in v0.8.0, making cruising around with a 250W/25 kmph max quite bearable.

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Apparently this can cause issues. To be safe, I soldered a simple DC-DC 6-24V to 5V buck converter onto one of the 6V lines (in my case to charge a small LoRa GPS tracker). They are fairly cheap and tiny and already feature a USB-output. It charged - albeit rather slowly. I later removed it...

Yes, because you asked I took it for a very short spin and it rode wonderfully. I did notice the boot-up time (from the initial button press to the information screen) takes a bit longer than before: I timed it at 7.24 seconds.

Flashing the motor back to 0.54 and then 0.56 did the trick! 0.54 gave me the right 'firmware error' message. Obrigado casainho!

Correct. Even after two minutes it still says 'Wait TSDZ2'. I don't have brakes and didn't change any of the wiring between flashes.

Olá casainho, first of all a big thanks for all your hard work (and that of others) on this fantastic firmware. Coming from 850C_v0.6.8(bootloader)/v0.55 I am now trying to update to 850C_v0.7.0-bootloader/v.0.65 for safety reasons, but running into the error-message you mentioned here: Could...
