    Good question.. How often do you see a weld in a swingarm like that?.. Usually there are no welded joints in that location. Since the damn bike weighs over 70lbs, they should have just gone with a CS swing arm and coughed up another lb..lol

    Looks like yours failed in the HAZ and not the weld itself.. Sorry to see that. The FL distributor told me at the time in 2011 mine was the 2nd swingarm failure... Now the hours are accumulating and the failure are ramping up.

    Tire looks good! Hope the cheap Chinese tires work out for you.. Let us know.. My only complaint about the 2.25 shinkos was that cornering was not as good, and it lowered the bike... Looks like your 2.50 is about the same OD as those bastard Kendas! Have fun with it..

    Stromer Elite Review

    Well the LBS swapped in a new battery (well new to me.. still a 2012 production build), and that battery charges to 100% SOC and ran it all the way down to 8%.. Went 26 miles in PAS City Mode at 21 mph on FLAT terrain.. Don't know if that's good or not....A whole lot more efficient than my A2B...
