MX wheel on rear and Halo Contra on the front (standard front rim) that's all I gotta say. Handles anything a Canadian winter throws at it.

Welcome WK. My only advice is for you to build an MX wheel with MX tire for your new Bomber. All of your future issues will be resolved (worn tires, cracked rims, pinch flats, stress on the axel during regen -although the axel lock does help, much better handling in all conditions).

Voltage sag tolerance and 24 + AH would be really nice. Yesterday I charged my Bomber after my commute and then put away the charger for the day. Battery voltage was down to 81.2 volts when I had to go back home (35 km -20 miles) and I had a significant less amount of zip vs hot off the charger...

Interesting. ..all I have been dealing with is Voltage sag all winter. Granted I rode when it was -29 c and managed to ride at a decent speed. I wiped out on some ice two days ago and bent my crank arm. Headed to my authorized Stealth bike shop to grab a new one and hung out for a while to...

Hey guys, my regen stopped working today. It was working a little bit and then I felt the motor grab and then let go. Any ideas?

Yep, I have it charging in a warm area all the way up to when I am about to start my trip. Ready to store my Bomber for the winter and switch to a Felt Lebowske Bosche powered Fat Bike until April.

Will it be that much of a difference since the stock motor is used to a 24 inch rim (although lighter) vs a 19 inch moto rim with a beefy SR241? I honestly don't recall having as much voltage sag as I'm having right now. My riding speed is essentially cut by 50% which can be really hectic when...

I ride mixed road and offroad (75/25). The stock rim and Duro Razorback just doesn't work for my riding frequency, weight and outright abuse from my urban commute. With the MX tire (Shinko SR241) I can regen all I want and expect the tire to last 3000 km vs 500-800 on a Duro and 300-400 on a...

Yep I thank you big time from Canada! Now time to ride in the snow (we have a blizzard today).

Honestly, the wheel you built for Morati that I now have on my Bomber is tough as nails. Put a 1000 km on it already and no sign of wear even though I regen a lot. I'm still getting used to the 5404 but will be lacing my stock motor on a 19 inch excel. I'll say it again, I have no idea how...

I use Gform for everything but my chest/spine vest. Elbow, knee (I wear the combo shin guard during the winter) and hip/theigh short. They are super thin and have a chemical reaction when you fall so they harden on impact then release. I have fallen twice really hard on my elbow and hip and once...

Man, that would be the dream to use the charger that you're using with 35 ah battery. I do need another charger and it does take up a lot of space in my bag. Are you selling those at all?

    E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

Yep makes sense, I'm going to build that 19 inch wheel, not sure of the spoke measurements for stock motor and the 19. I know the salt is pretty bad, but I really want to keep riding and not have to wait for March/April (which can also have bad weather). Every week since I've owned the bomber...

    E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

Yeah you're probably right...just feels totally off vs my stock motor. A few weeks ago I was riding in -13 temps with no visible sign of voltage sag. I was going 35 to 40 km and pedalling really hard for nearly 2 hours (jacket was drenched with sweat). Other than getting a flat and walking my...

5404 definitely uses more power over a 55 km route I take everyday. I might have gone too hard during a 5 km road segment just so the cars wouldn't run me down. Usually, the first 10 km I do about 3.5 Ah but hit 4.5 ah and even though I was pedaling and going 25 to 35 km/hr, my average per 10...

Since your Stealth has newer improvements you won't have to worry about the key or the screen getting water damage as much as my Bomber. For the time being tape up your Hal connector with electrical tape so water doesn't short out the electrical connection. Buy lots of Razorbacks because...

    E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

Yep will post a pic tomorrow. Just got my Fox 40s fixed today (the rubber around the coils - there are three in the left stantion bunched up in between the coils so I had zero travel). With the new MX + 5404 setup my Bomber is a beast in the trails. I'm still adjusting to the difference...

    E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

I'm going to get my Fox 40s looked at later this morning (not responding at all). Man oh man...rode 70 km with my new MX wheel I bought from Morati...the torque on rough off road terrain was awesome tonight. Worked like a champ in the snow and on very wet/icy conditions. Certain sections on...

Maybe because my Stealth is #174 I'm experienced problems every week since I purchased it in 2013. You probably remember my list of constant issues and I've grown accustomed to some pretty dicey situations. However this last issue yesterday nearly got me killed with the rear wheel wobble after...

    E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

True but I wish someone told me from the get go...replace everything because your life is at risk. I ride hard and a lot of distance 5 days of the week but I haven't even begun with the heavy off road stuff I want to do because I don't trust the stock components. I think Stealth should go with...

    E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

Super stoked...just met up with Morati and picked up the 18 inch MC wheel with the Shinko SR 241. Can't wait to put this on my Bomber, especially after breaking 4 spokes yesterday and got brutal wobbles going over a bridge overpass with 40 cars breathing down my back. Honestly, the stock rim is...
