About to order from NKON.nl - What to expect?

I have ordered from nkon several times, and never had a problem. But I am in europe. From what I have read they are one of the most trusted vendors for original batteries, and the prize seems right. I am not sure, but I think it usually takes about 2 weeks for me to get my orders. I have...

KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW)

I am still very interested in trying the fw, especially the cruise control would be nice to have though. The app looks nice, I hope I can get an old phone working and try to use it on. I have to get the parts to be able to program before I can get much furter though. I know there was some talk...

    Kunteng KT 36/48SVPRK light output

Thank you, unfortunately I saw the responses too late.. I measured my lights (with dc-dc converter) to 300mA. But I believe there is also spikes when it turns on. Well, I thought it was not much, and connected it. It worked for a very short while, now I dont have a light utput anymore  I...

KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW)

Alright, thank you. So as I understand it, everything on the display works. Exept P and C settings, but as I can program them with computer or phone they are not needed. Wait, change assist level. Does that work? I like the simplicity of the display, it is there and works when I turn on the...

    Kunteng KT 36/48SVPRK light output

KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW)

I really like the possibility to program current and everything on your fw. The regen is something I am after too. And the legal mode, I only have offroad mode now.. It seems like you have better efficiency too? With FOC I thought I should list some of the things that make me want to use...

KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW)

Hi, thank you so much for sharing your work like this :) I have read the entire thread, but it has been a while since then. I have a KT36/48SVPRK-SLS02G (18fet controller)and a LCD3 display. I have just started using it, so I am not sure if I have found all the functions yet. The question is...

Did the bms drain the cell group?

When I built the battery the cells were perfectly balanced at a little over 3,6V It is a 13s5p with genuine, new sanyo cells and a cheap chinese bms. I did not charge the batterys afterwards, I just connected the carger to see that everything works. I thoght it would be perfect voltage to...

I’M NOT Spot Welding Using Lipo

I used solid copper wire and 60/40 solder that flows easy. And some (I don´t really know the name in english) solderfluid? To make the solder "grip" easy.

I’M NOT Spot Welding Using Lipo

I have built a welder like that, using a car battery and a solenoid. I was not satisfied with te resault, some welds were good. But some were not. I was able to pull off some of the welds, and if i did not make enough contact it would burn holes in the nickel strips. I ended up soldering...

    Battery disconnect switch

Thank you, that sounds good enogh for me. I was mostly conserned about damaging the controller with power spikes. But then it probably is not that big of a problem.

    Battery disconnect switch

I am building an electric bike with a 13s5p battery that is removable. But I am a little concerned that I will get sparks when removing the battery, that will damage connectors and maby controller and bms. The problem is that I don´t have anywhere to easy mount a main circuit breaker. How big of...

    Hailong Case... TIGHT!! Aaagh!

I have used the same casing for a 13s5p battery. That is a full 65 18650:s.I did´nt remove anything, but I had to bend the connecton for the usb output. That pushed the batteries up otherwise. It is really tight when you are fitting thick cables insde, I put them in the bottom beside the...

    common chinese controllers

The most common chinese controllers at the moment seems to be the cheap XLD like this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Steuergerat-1500W-36V-48V-50A-Motor-Brushless-Controller-fur-E-Bike-E-Scooter/382515102429 or the a bit more expensive sine wave hallomotor (risun motor?) like this one...
