    What sort of beam pattern are you looking for from the headlight? Bridgelux makes a single LED emitter with 8,000 lumen output (steady, not maximum) *muwahahahaha* but given the light source is 48mm diameter, it's more of a flood type than a spot. I think it would still be fine for your targeted...
