    Very interesting video Adam! Both a better softstart for difficult situations, and also better torque respond in pas would make this bike even better! I hope the new controller/display will be available as an upgrade with a reasonable price for excisting LMX64 owners.

    I updated the LMX64 controller software today, and replaced the 34t chainring with a 38tooth. I haven't seen any release notes on the FW upgrade, so I was not sure what to expect of changes, but i noticed throttle mode is 'torque' only now, and not 'torque + speed' as i guess it was before...

    I belive a CNC'ed front sprocket would be much stronger then a 3d printed one. And it needs to be VERY strong as it takes a lot of load compared to the rear sprocket. In front you have much fewer tooths to distribute the load over then in the rear.

    I have not tried that, but that would be easy enough to try. I dont believe it will make any noise though as i think it is the chain on the sprocket that generates noise..

    My chain does not hit the side of the frame. Seems it is to tight to laterally swing into the frame. Guess the 3d printed chain cover was just a prototype cover. Cannot imagine it would dampen any sound. Good point about lubing the chain for noise reduction :thumb: I would not put a rubber...

    I removed the battery before using the hose, but the electronics just needs to withstand it. I cannot have a bike that doesn't cope with washing. You see how dirty it gets, and i see no other way then to hose it clean. Battery is cleaned with a moist cloth :wink: Bike with upgrades was 5568€...
