    Great advice, thanks. I'll Let you know how the discharge goes when I finish with the 12v light balance on the overcharged cells. I thought of draining the whole pack 48v 20amp and all, to a 82v 410 watt bulb. To much draw? Never good at math.

    Not sure what kind of battery it is. It was donated to me. Used once. I recharged it directly over the summer without a BMS. I am going to discharge it with some 12v 75watt bulbs lights. Chris

    4.42 went down. 4.11. Took 3 hrs. So a bms can take voltage from one and distribute the overload to the underload cells? Wow, that is pretty cool. I'll do the bulb thing now. THANKS

    cells 1-14 are in this range. + or - 3.63. Notice cell 14 crimp was bad. meter read So I think all is good? Nothing hot. Just have a issue with a few spot welds. I guess a little solder should do the trick. any specific type of solder? Thank you guyss.

    Ive searched long and hard on this and cannot come up with a brushless front hub that is fast and has longevity. If I can mount a disk brake to hub great. If I need to lace the hub great. PLEASE help me. Thank a bunch.

    Micargi- no sealed bearings in cranks or headset. Bummer because I need to redo bearings plus replacing oldschool forkset with wedge that holds forks in. Do any beach cruisers already have sealed bearings? I found sixthreezero, Firmstrong, GreenLine and Felt. They look like old school bearing...

    Ok. I will figure out the 16 cell - 1 cell. But I need one clue. Can I meter each cell? So cell 16 is 52 volts and cell 1 would be 3.4 volts? Thanks

    Thanks. I am not sure if the controller is 20 amps or 25 amps. Any simple test to check it? No writing on it inside or out. Came with the HBS-48 volt 1000w rear wheel. Thanks again. Chris
