    Thank you! I was doing a little math myself but that’s way more complete.. my bud took apart the battery pack a bit more and now I have specs on the bms I’m trying to get him to take pics of the pack where the cells are connected

    Thanks for the info! These were out of my buddies mototec 48v 13ah 1600w. He fried his bms so I was looking to help find a bms w an appropriate discharge rate.

    I've personally seen where a controller (BAC4000) did not react quick enough to protect a battery pack hence when Amberwolf says that the controller should be set lower than the BMS he is 100 percent right. That way you have double protection.

    Nupe I didn't have those mine were Samsung 50 somthin.. Works fine for my bike im still pulling 4500kw so may be different for you.

    TV not sure how your battery is but mine built ebike marketplace them sits "inside" the bottom of the frame. Because the opening has those rounded corners that will affect your battery size. Maybe you have already taken this into account. BTW I would be very very specific with them and tell them...
