    Highest discharge battery? (or highest power density)

    I want to build a very light and powerful racing battery pack. Enerland has nice batteries but they seem to be out of business and hobby king has only a few on stock. I need a lot of small packs for a big car-sized pack (3000+ Amp discharge). Any suggestions? Thanks!

    3,6V and LiFePO4

    I'm planing to use 4 Headway cells for my car as a cranking batterie replacement. Usually a car's batterie is at 14,4V when the car runs. That's 3,6V/cell. Is that too much for them? Will the life be shortened?

    John Wayland is using 4/0 gauge wire in his White Zombie. That's 107 mm². I was thinking about 120 mm² wire size for 2000 Amps burst. What do you guys think?

    SOC measurment vs. heat looses

    We're designing our own BMS for a race car project. The problem is that a considerable amount of heat is generated while we're pulling over 3000 Amps from our full size EV pack. How to calculate the SOC if over 10% of the stored energy is wasted as heat? Any idea how Tesla managed that problem...
