    Voltage matching questions

I have 140 of the same 18650 cells. There's about five different groups ranging in different voltages: 3.63V, 3.73V, 3.83V, 3.92, and 4.04V. This is my first battery build, will be 72V 20s7p. So far what I read is that I have to match the cells that will be in parallel, to within 0.001 volts of...

    Help: 72v 20s7p battery design and/or configuration

Here's the template I'm working with. I'm trying to find the best configuration to divide all 140 cells into 20 in series and 7 in parallel. If anyone likes doing this kind of stuff, chime on in! :thumb: :bolt: :lowbatt: :bolt: :D

1 big battery or 2 small ones?????

    1) 72v 20s6p (120 cells)......OR 2) 2 x 72v 20s4p (2 smaller batteries with 80 cells each) I know it's a matter of personal preference but Is it better to have one big battery? Or to have 2 smaller ones? I'm about to build one (or two). They will be used for a daily commute. :bolt: :bolt...

How soft for a replacement coil spring should I get for front fork?

Setup is 26" Full Suspension MTB, 52v, rear hub motor. Rear Shock is 250 lb/in coil spring w/ dampening. I've ordered a Rockshox coil spring 26" 30 Silver TK. It comes with a "medium" spring which I think will be too firm for me as I am 160 lbs. I ride mostly on the streets at 10 - 30 mph...

VOTE: Coil or Air Spring for Front Fork on Road Bike (MTB)

Convince me to upgrade to a sine wave controller.

My setup: 26" 48v 1500w rear hub motor (52v battery), w/ 35A square wave controller that came with the kit. It runs fine but I have been thinking of upgrading to a sine wave controller for the longest time. I don't know anybody else who has an ebike with a sine wave controller, so there's no...

Best Cushiony Rear Shock for Ebike

On my bike, I have a 9C rear hub motor and the battery is on a rack over the rear tire, so all the weight is on the back of my bike. I mostly ride on the road but sometimes I have to ride on the sidewalk. Currently I have a 2 month old Rockshox Monarch RL on the bike with a RST Omega front...

Any difference if I upgrade the controller to a higher amp?

    1) I currently have a 48v 35a ebikeling controller. It hits 36 mph. Was wondering if I keep it at 48v, but upgrade the controller to a higher amp rating like 45a or 50a, will I see some difference at max mph? 2) Also, does anybody know if that controller is a square wave or sine wave? thanks
