The Etek motor on my converted riding mower has been working well but lately slows down while mowing up a steep hill. batteries read 39 start to 36 recharge. Cables, fuse and contactor show low resistance. The brushes are OK and it turns ( stiffly ) by hand. Everything looks good and it mows...
I have installed 2 Mophorn 3 phase 2000w motors as blade motors on my ride on electric mower. They need to run at a constant speed . Can I do this without using a throttle epoxyed to full speed ?
I'm using 2 Unite 1020, 48 volt, 1000 watt DC brushed motors for the cutting blades on my Ariens Amp riding mower. The brushes have worn completely , ruining the commutator, in about 200 hours of mowing. Is this common ?
Thanks
John
