heat shrink film, where to buy?

The covering film wont work or at least I don't think so, it is a plasticky material, sticky on one side, smooth on the other, used to cover the fuselage and wings of balsa and wooden planes. The covering film gets stuck on and then ironed on with a low temp iron, it shrinks, to conform to the...

Hi there, I'll pass on whatever knowledge I have, with the turnigy 200A monster, I believe your going to have syncing issues, if you dont push first or something, there are a couple of threads with attempts of this esc, but it is not the best, and many have gone poof(Burtie's...

Turnigy HXT Powered Custom Cruiser Worklog

The instant start 72v 45a e-crazyman controller that keywin quoted you is the 1500w one and according to the ebay specs its size is 180*85*45mm which I believe is a 12fet controller. The XJC8B116A based processors, is just the 'new' instant start models, but I don't have comparative data...

Turnigy HXT Powered Custom Cruiser Worklog

And so it does say it, cool. so 70,000elec.rpm/12pole= 5833.33 lets say 66.6v, 5833.3/66.6= 87kv and under, that's doable as, rewiring the HXT delta to wye/star gets the 130kv motor to about 75kv.

Turnigy HXT Powered Custom Cruiser Worklog

Well, all I know is that kelly's are limited to 40,000 electric rpm. So with the 12 pole HXT motor thats 3333.333...mechanical rpm max. at 130kv and 48v thats 6240rpm, (could be wrong with the maths) but with that 130kv motor the mech rpm is too high, meaning the motor will be limited. at approx...

my new E bike newbie here.

It depends on what chemistry you are using. So what chemistry are you using?? Seems like SLAs, 12v 12ah batteries. 25mins is real quick, especially for slas, heard their charge rate is something like 0.3c or something. you can charge faster but that reduces batt life considerably. But wait...

Some custom work going on in the "Matt-Cave" :~)

haha AWD recumbent, world first??not very knowledgeable about them but sounds very slick indeed. I don't want to add up your costs for this build but 4 friggin astros and CC's and 12S 40ah of lipo ... I can only dream Will the 3115 motors mounted onto the front wheels affect your ability to...

Some custom work going on in the "Matt-Cave" :~)

WaWaWa, Another one of Matts supa-powred rc builds...drools just thinking about it. Is 12S 40Ah, the final config?? I'm guessing your using a CC so 12S lipo would be max but 40Ah of lipo, so much available amps on tap. Should be a rocket, that's if you can get enough traction :twisted...

    Switch mode supply mod

Woah, Yeah thanks guys, the help is much appreciated. In regards to your BMS system I will try to get my hands on a couple if I can, but as I am aware your still finalising it so that's fine, but without the BMS I am still unsure how the charge is turned off when the battery is fully charged...

    Switch mode supply mod

Hi guys, First time poster here and pretty newby concerning this electrical stuff, but gotta couple of questions or two concerning using these Power Supplies as chargers.
