    Golden Motor VEC300-96

I've tried tuning the PI regulator in the CA but never got it in a way that where acceptable in an longer perspective. Either I got good throttle response with stuttering mid range speed. Or, I got a throttle response way to slow but without stuttering, or at least almost no stuttering in mid...

    Golden Motor VEC300-96

I never wrote there's an issue with the controller. I wrote "My new TC65 will not run with my Lyen 18 FET" I'm not sure one can say it's an issue with either of the parts. They just don't match together.

    Golden Motor VEC300-96

Ok, I should have been more informative. I doesn't work well together with a CA in current throttle mode. It's stuttering in mid speed range. When trying without CA it's not stuttering, The problem is running +5kW in speed control mode. See the following thread...

    Golden Motor VEC300-96

My new TC65 will not run with my Lyen 18 FET. But autumn is here in Gothenburg Sweden and the winter isn't far away. Not much riding time left. So I'm back with my old 9C motor for the remaining riding time which means that I'm not in a hurry. I'm focusing in getting a suitable sine wave...

    Golden Motor VEC300-96

Hi, Anyone tested this Controller or have some interesting information about it? I'm looking for a powerful Sine Wave controller for my 24S pack. Don't start the <20S vs >20S here, please. I'm sick of it. I have a pack and chargers based on 24S and will not alter it...

Lacing Crystalyte The Crown TC80 to Mavic

Is that the Mavic EX823 rim? Did you just skip the original Mavic nipples? Did you have to do some drilling at the spoke holes? I've got my TC65. Bought it with rim from Crystalyte Europe. It should have been laced with a 25mm rim but came with a 19mm :( Anyway, the lacing where a terrible work...

Sabvoton SVMC072150 controller review, variable regen *PICS*

Anyone know when soon is? I'm running 24S and has decided to wait for the 96V version. I'm afraid I'm doing something stupid now by posting the following link. But I must ask what you think of the page I found? Fake/copy/scam? Interesting is the SVMC084150 and the SVMC096120 alternative...

    Stuttering THE CROWN, TC-100

Thanks for all info. Just to clarify. Are you using a Cycle Analyst? I only notice stuttering when using Cycle Analyst in Current Throttle mode.

    Stuttering THE CROWN, TC-100

Problem solved!! ...or at least behavior acceptable. First I tried without my CA and the oscillating totally disappeared. But it's not possible to drive without current throttle when having 7kW. So I connected my CA and changed the IntAGain parameter. Default it is 300. I had it changed to 400...

Did a test with 15S (CA still connected). Still the same behavior...

    Stuttering THE CROWN, TC-100

I'll disconnect my CA and do a test. Back to speed control. Just to make sure the CA isn't the issue. Do you use the default PID values?

    Stuttering THE CROWN, TC-100

It must be a timing issue. I have the problem even at low current. Using a CA setup with current throttle. Have tried really gentle acceleration as well as setting current limit to 10A. Still oscillating/stuttering/jerking behavior. An other question is the number of motor poles. Crystalyte...

    Stuttering THE CROWN, TC-100

Which controller are you using? As I wrote I've tried 24S and 20S. I'll try 18S and lower as soon as I gets home. Maybe the problem disappears @75V and below.

    Stuttering THE CROWN, TC-100

I got my TC65 yesterday. Installed and tested it today. I have a Lyen 18 FET controller with the R115 mod to handle 24S. It does not work. I have the same problems as you described I also tried to run a 20S setup. Still the same problem. My LiPo's where charged to around 4.0V so 24S gave me 96V...

    Crystalyte TC65 + Lyen 18fet + 24s Lipo

I got my TC65 yesterday. Installed and tested it today. I have a Lyen 18 FET controller with the R115 mod to handle 24S. It does not work. I have the exact same problems described here: http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=48207&start=25#p729789 I also tried to run a 20S...

    Wobbeling hub motor

Hi again, I'm thinking of Mavic EN 521 Disc 36H. It seams like a good "average" rim. EDR = 532 mm. Using spokecalc on ebikes.ca (Nine Continent, 1 Cross) gives me 160.7 mm spokes. (Thinking of order custom cut 13g black Sapim spokes from them.) Question is, what's the diameter of a spoke...

    Wobbeling hub motor

Yes, I understand the meaning of that, thanks. Rhyno Lite XL has an EDR of 549 mm. When using the spoke calculator on ebikes.ca it says I should use 168.9 mm spokes. Is it as easy as that or do I have to take account of other things? How exact does the spoke length has to be. Within 1 mm or...

    Wobbeling hub motor

Can you (or someone else) point me to a good online store where I can find find 12g spokes for my hub. Suggestion on rim is appreciated as well.

    Wobbeling hub motor

Hi, Just installed my Nine Continent 2807 (7x9). When running the wheel "in the air" I can clearly see that the axis is wobbling (see linked video). I know that hub motors aren't perfect, but this. Should I accept it or is it outside Chinese quality? -- Daniel w8hRCyKbK80
