Scientists from the University of Pittsburgh have discovered a large amount of lithium located in Pennsylvania, saying it could eventually supply more than a third of America’s needs for the mineral. Researcher and study lead author Justin Mackey told CBS Pittsburgh in an article published...

How to increase speed simply? (Pics) chinese scooter

Lithium batteries will give you more range and could last longer then lead-acid batteries. The last SLA's I had lasted for about 18 months of daily use until they got noticeably weaker. Depending on where you charge your batteries LiFePO is a fairly safe type of lithium battery. Other types of...

I had the good fort I had the good fortune to see him play during his UCLA championship days. He was fun to watch as he could do it all. Shoot, rebound, block shots, run the floor, pass. I still have a couple of UCLA programs with his signature. The photo is from the Dec. 1 1973 game with...

    Problems with battery

Sounds like sophistication of a cheap Chinese BMS from an unknown Chinese company that has zero concern of liability. On the other hand I haven't been paying attention to these kinds of things lately. But it still points to the OP having to open the battery pack because even a 42v Li-on charger...

    Problems with battery

At 15v it would seem to me that more then one of the 10 groups is under 3v. The only way to know is for the OP to cut it open to access the bms wiring but has already stated that is not in the plans. Ok, I guess I haven't been paying attention. So for how long have those cheep Chinese BMS' not...

    Problems with battery

I really don't understand what you are saying here. A: Why would the BMS "lock" the battery down? B: What switch are you referring to that is not being activated? Please elaborate.

    Problems with battery

There is something else I am not understanding. Is your charging wires looping to the main battery while you have a second battery attached or do you disconnected the charging wires before you use the second battery? Also, checking the diode is easy. Simply apply a voltage from your bench...

May 13 (UPI) -- A California man ordered by his city to conceal the boat parked in his driveway with a fence hired his artist neighbor to paint a photo-realistic image of the vessel in an act of rebellious compliance. Etienne Constable said the boat he uses for fishing was regularly parked in...

    Legends dropping like flies

The first movie I worked on was a Roger Corman movie. It was titled "Wizards of the Lost Kingdom 2." It didn't matter that nobody on the crew had ever heard of "Wizards of the Lost Kingdom", let alone seen it, we were making the second in a series. The days were long at an average of about 18...

Sounds like somehow you got your phase wires out of order. Go back and double check that your phase wires are connected properly.

    Burned yellow butt splice connector

Several layers of shrink tubing from the connector to an inch or so beyond the spot where the solder wicked into strands will suppress the movement that might cause the strands to fail. I have done that with good success. It might take a modest amount of thought and planning if the shrink tubing...
