    Powering 5V rear light from BBSHD shift sensor cable?

    just to answer the OP question. It doesn't work. I used a Y splitter thinking I could draw 5V from the Brake sensor cable to charge a USB battery and although it does supply 5V as soon as you start riding and the motor kicks in the motor slows down and no power goes to the motor.

    Rocky Mountain Blizzard fatbike conversion

    Very nice build! I have a 2017 Rocky Mountain Blizzard -30 frame and it looks like the BBSHD may interfere with the chain stay. I was wondering if you had to use spacers? If so, how many spacers did you have to used to avoid the chain stay? Thank you for your help. ian

    btw the gear on the 400W (450W?) brushed motor has 19 teeth so I guess I should have less than this with the above brushless motor? I"m not sure how the brushed motor compares with the C6354-250 out runner?
