    yeah you could do that. a micro grid tie inverter from ebay would work. would it make a worthwhile dent to your bills..... depends, on how much you spend, on electric, really. another idea this guy hooked his couple of solar panels upto his hot water, heating his water thru the day ready...

    I would say it's up to your needs. What kinds power do you need? High AH or high C rate? If you are drawing hi current it's lipo other wise it's a toss. Myself, so far I have better averages with the Lipo's. that is due to the higher amp draw that i have run, which killed the low c rated...

    hay all i'm in the market for new batteries, i've looked at different solutions, but came to the conclusion, eighter lipo's or victpower is my best bet. i can eighter buy 7 * 5s 8000mah lipos, combined with my 3 curent ones to give me = 36v 40ah or i can buy victpower a123 36v 20ah battery...

    just found this website, looks like a really good idea for those going on an extended jaunt. http://www.cyclecharge.org.uk/home pity, there all located down in england, any businesses/pubs/restaurants etc willing to join up. i live in a block of flats, so i cant :(
