    Aussie powered bike laws warning guys!

    Am I insane or after reading through the ADR and (Victorian) Act, a/ 200w to 50kph as per ADR b/ 250w to 25kph with pedaling - as per pedlec acts. amount to: c/ 200w to 50kph + an extra 50w below 25kph if pedaling? Oh and g'day guys, another Ozzie on board :) Shane

    I want about 40kph/25mph, I'd love 50kph/30mph and I'll settle for 30kph/18.5mph. The Bafang CST has the cassette freewheel and is rated at 270 rpm @ 36v which is 25kph on my 20" wheel (rolling dia 1600mm). If Jeremy Harris's table (linked to above) is correct, that looks like a 12 turn motor...

    I'm looking at the same sort of issue Cass, 20" wheel on a Greenspeed trike for commuting but rather less power, 500w should do me. Presently I'm tossing up the MAC, Bafang/8fun and Ezee along with some of the smaller DD hubs, and finding it hard to make a clear choice, not helped by my woeful...

    Oh I'm off to a flying start here, first post in and I'm arguing 8) Isn't a code 10 more of a medium wind? Going off this table here: http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=43106 I suppose its a semantic point, but doesn't 315 rpm in a 26" (call it 2,000mm rd) wheel work out...
