    I've actually been working on a project similar to this using the bq76pl536 and an NXP microcontroller for use as a 12V replacement for a car for a school project. I don't know if you remember me, Mike, but you actually helped me build my first ebike! (a 2Kw gng) I can't believe I never checked...
