24fet Crystalyte Controller and Cycle Analyst v3

Found the issue. This particular Crystalyte module has a motor temperature protection circuit. The throttle signal circuit goes through the motor temp sensor. So if the temp sensor connection the throttle will be open circuit when wired direct to the controller. I guess with CA 2.3 no mods are...

24fet Crystalyte Controller and Cycle Analyst v3

Hi Gents, I have an issue I was hoping someone can help me with. I just purchased a 24 fet crystalyte controller from Hi-Powered Cycles. I am using it on my phasor to replace an 18fet 4115 controller from Lyen. Only to underrate it hopefully end up with cooler running temps on the controller...

    High Voltage Controllers

I will admit with some of my other controller's the mods I made to the software (..cranking the amperage) and riding style most likely contributed to the issues. With this latest one I don't believe that to be the case. I just wanted something reliable and unmodified (As unmodified as a custom...

    E-S Phasor Electric Bike Owners

Hi, Yes, it is a 26 on the front and 24 on the rear. The motor is a 4065 but labelled as a 4030. Not sure what to for speed running on 24s lipo in 24" rim. As for the HCX-D131 I learned that lesson already on my other bike. Good thing I bought some extra's. Been a bit of a hassle getting a...

    New Phasor Build

Hi Guys, I have committed on the Phasor frame. I am looking for some more advice/opinions on what rear dropout width I should go with. I want to run a 4065 and possibly as crown. I would like to have the flexibility of being able to switch between them. Ideally I would like to have a least a 6...

For a brief moment in the past, I did fly commercially. Just another expensive hobby now.. I had a hard time cutting all of the footage down to 8 minutes and ironically an even harder time making the music track 8 minutes long.... In hind sight, I think a 6 minute video would have been...

    Bms issue or not?

Ok brought some of the lower cells up with my other charger. Left main charger on overnight and now all cells are within .05 of each other. As suggested I will give the pack some light cycles and hopefully it will get even closer. Thanks, Greg

    Bms issue or not?

Thanks for the replies, No, I didn't balance the cells prior to assembly. I have a hobby charger that does lifep04. I think I will charge the low cells with that. I attached a picture of the BMS. How long would it normally take for the cells to balance?

    Bms issue or not?

I just finished building a 72 volt 24s headway pack using 40152s Cells. I have a BMS with part# PCM-L24S60-622. According to my Alloy Shell 1200watt charger the batteries are charged. The charger is now at the balancing stage. I am new too this and am uncertain of a few details about this...

24S BMSFrom Battery Matrix.- EMC-400 Charger.

Just getting into ebikes. I bought the 72 volt 24s 15ah Headway kit from Battery Matrix. The BMS does not come with a wiring diagram but it seems fairly simple. However, this is a 24 cell BMS and there are 25 wires for the cells. I am not sure what the 25th is for. I am also not sure which one...
