    Your opinion matters

@hillhater: I'm actually considering biting the bullet and paying the bigger bucks for a proper 18650 setup, but for the new frame I'm going to build. I want a simpler charging setup for the future. But I'm never 100% confident in my own work! im like 98%! Beyond good practices I figured putting...

    Your opinion matters

The frame bags are fabric , but the batteries are hard cased. I'm actually working on building a frame out of 6160 aluminum. When I get more progress I'll post up that build. But for now think of a mini stealth bike. Issues are no one really makes a good fork for 20in bikes or 24in bikes. But on...

    Your opinion matters

Thanks. I felt the same way but there are some people who feel strongly that LiPO is still a bit too unstable for children to use them. And in to a point that's true , like you stated, I handle the charging of the packs And if they sit for a few days I go ahead and discharge them to the store...

    Your opinion matters

So to make this post quick and dirty..... I built two bikes for my kids to keep up on some trails( I'm riding a NON assisted bike) I used a cheap Chinese kit and so far am very impressed with it. The question is my battery chemistry I choose. I constructed two battery packs 10s 3p 5amh...

Anyone build up a Jekyll 3?

Alright I've been gone for awhile( had to tie up loose ends in Afghanistan ) and in that time I have soften up the wife a bit and back on track to do a nice build. I still like the idea of mid drive, but I do have a rather unique down tube shape where it meets the bb. So I'm not too sure it will...

Anyone build up a Jekyll 3?

Ok so the predicament I'm in right now is everything I purchase has to go through the bank (wife) first. And she kindly pointed out that a good 48v 12-15ah pack will set me back 600-800 , and the I still need controller and motor which would be another 600-800. Which is the price of a half...

Anyone build up a Jekyll 3?

Thanks for your input. Yeah I thought I liked the wheels too much to throw in a large hub, maybe a small 250-400w but I really love the way it handles and don't want to throw too much weight in the rear. The larger GNG looks promising right now but would need some re engineering to gain my...

Anyone build up a Jekyll 3?

I have a medium 2010 Jekyll , the one with the fox dyad rt2 rear shock and the talas fronts ( 32 I believe ) I live in Colorado Springs which is somewhat bike friendly, but I am going to build a battery pack into a back pack( keep the bike a little more stealth looking )

Anyone build up a Jekyll 3?

Hello, first post here. Just wondering what you guys thoughts are on a mid drive, or rear hub on a cannondale Jekyll 3 ? I'm aware of pros and cons for both, but more wondering if I should just build on a different frame. I'm not trying to re invent the wheel and rather follow a proven frame...
