Motor Sag Slow on Rear Direct Drive (Is it due to age?)

Great news everyone, I have found the solution to my problem. Two things. 1st – My Cycle Analyst wasn’t calibrated to the infineon controller I received from EM3EV. Rassy and dogman dan were right. The Rshunt for the mountain bike was set at the default 1 and the controller’s resistance stated...

Motor Sag Slow on Rear Direct Drive (Is it due to age?)

Hello all, I'll get to the point. I have 2 e-bikes (both Cycle Analyst 3). One has a new front wheel motor (recumbent bacchetta) and the other is an older hard tail MTB with a rear motor (maybe 3+ years). Both are direct drive. I noticed that the older motor set to limit to 300 watts, I get 20...

    Upgrading from 36V to 48V

-Update on my situation- I have purchased a Cycle Analyst V2 and it has helped me tremendously to gauge my Ping battery. My 18.4 miles round trip uses roughly 276 watts, (15 watts per mile) give or take, out of the estimated 360 watts I have available on my 36v 10ah battery. So I will not be...

Help finding steel frame disc brake bike

I've taken the plunge! Going against my own post, I bought a used Fuji aluminum bike 22" frame with V-brakes for $150 on CL. There was a Jamis for $300 21" frame but the OP keeps changing the price and now it's $400. I am happy with my purchase and I think I can make the brakes work? Here's a...

Help finding steel frame disc brake bike

Thanks for all the feedback! I didn't know that aluminum bikes with steel drop outs were an option. I still want to go with a rear motor. Not sure what CFG stands for? The bike that I have is short for my size and has many issues I need not go into. I will let you know if I find a candidate and...

Help finding steel frame disc brake bike

So, I am attempting to build a commuter bike. From what I've read here and online elsewhere is that a mountain bike, hardtail, would be preferred made of steel with disc brakes. I am having a hard time finding this kind of bike. My price range is around $400 for the bike, new or used. My...

    Upgrading from 36V to 48V

I have direct drive and can achieve 20-22 mph without pedaling on 36v. I had the European Limiter activated to test if 20 miles was even possible to earlier this week but would prefer the speed to get home faster. I think I have gone 15-18 miles without attempting to conserve my battery.

    Upgrading from 36V to 48V

Hey guys, Here's my situation, starting October, I will be biking to and from work - 20 miles total. I'm located around Boston, MA and there aren't many hills I will be climbing. I have an AmpedBikes kit on a mountain bike with a 36V 10ah Ping battery. I have gone 22 miles with this pack (top...

Ping Charger 2.5 amp; Safe to Disconnect Fan?

Hey everyone, Been following Endless Sphere for quite some time now and had a question. I recently got one of Pings 36v 10ah v2.5 batteries and I am impressed with what Ping puts out. Only thing is the fan noise is too loud for me and where I charge it. So I opened it up and disconnected the...
