    I have a sub-$100 children's bicycle which has better Plastic levers than the apparently pot metal formed versions that came with my Bafang BBS-02. It could because of the specific supplier saving a dollar with their kit but it looks just like the rest of the levers I've seen in the photos...

    The Wallgoose has a long cage if I remember correctly. It could be why I'm doing better regarding the drops now that I have the Origin8 keeping things on track.

    Sky, the Origin8 has been working so far. No chain drops or chain-suck yet on a recent 10 mile test drive. Urban pavement, cobblestone, rock, some curb jumps and general hooliganism. I'm not bombing down stairs yet until I have come up with a better battery mounting idea.
