    My C.A. stopped working!

Hi, I´m having a little (probably a big) problem with my Cycle Analyst. It always worked fine but today it suddenly stopped working. It doesn´t even display the startup screen (that message like "Cycle Analyst v2.0") when I turn the controller on. It just displays a kind of graphical error as...

HELP! My battery charger doesn´t work!

Hi, I´ve just built a 48V Nimh battery pack, tested with my new X-5304 and working fine. However when I connect it to my charger it doesn´t work at all. This is my charger: http://www.powerstream.com/nimh-3pn9.htm I thought the problem could be the charger, but I tried with 2 more (I have 3...

    Are these schematic drawings correct?

Yeah, good idea. I´ll try that. Just one more question: what wire gauge should I use? 9 AWG?

    Are these schematic drawings correct?

My idea is to use pull out plugs, yes: I think I´ll use standard car fuses and waterproof fuse holders, is it ok? About the plugs/connectors, I was thinking in Anderson Powerpoles (PP-45 or PP-75). What do you think? I´m not sure what that is exactly, and I found very different results...

    Are these schematic drawings correct?

Hi there, I have 120 sub-C cells to build a 48V battery, but this is going to be my first e-bike project and I´m not precisely an expert at electrical stuff. These are the specs of the cells: -Type: Sub-C -Chemistry: Nimh -Voltage: 1.2V -Capacity: 4500mAh -Standard Charge: 15 hours @ 300mA...

Buying a bike to mount the Puma motor

I´ve contacted Mark from teamhybrid and he says there are two different versions of the latest generation Pumas: -500w 36v 260rpm (20mph in a 26" wheel) -500w 36v 320rpm (25mph in a 26" wheel) He also says (literally): "The drop out is 135mm but no disc brake only Vbrake". :!: Maybe...

Buying a bike to mount the Puma motor

I guess the Schwinn is an interesting choice for the money, but I bet it´s an american manufacturer because I´ve never seen that brand around here. Also I think the european market is quite expensive comparing to the USA... :( I´m looking for a bike below 400€...

Buying a bike to mount the Puma motor

Hi all, I´m new here. I´ve read some threads on this forum and there seems to be a few people already using the Puma motor on their bikes, so I have some questions for them. I want to buy a bike to mount that motor on the rear wheel. What kind of bike? Well, it would be a budget...
