    Thank you for the input rsilvers. Update!: It seems I caught a local craigslist 30 minutes after it was posted, for a Dahon Jet Stream from 2010 for a pretty decent deal. About as much for a Dahon Speed Uno brand new. Something in the cosmos has aligned and this seems to be coming together nicely.
