Where to buy IP66 2-6 pin waterproof connectors/plugs

I bough them finally from this place: https://www.e-bike-technologies.de/index.php/en/connectors/higo/higo-mini-b-connectors Soldering went fine too. I think these connectors are neat. Wires are really thin making the complete cable thin.

    Beat this build 2.0

Hi EbikeAvocado It looks to me that you are raising 10 different questions by this thread. I believe you need much more research on existing threads and really make up your mind what you want to build. You are posting links from entry point china kits to highend bikes like vector. We are not...

Where to buy IP66 2-6 pin waterproof connectors/plugs

Hi I am about to replace my white/black 2-6 pin sockets/plugs with the more neater round 2-6 pin quick release connectors. I have been looking for buying these quick release connectors in smaller amount than 100pcs that are sold here...

Help me diagnose issue -- BMS potentially?

Hi I have a question that I noticed about your pack. Are there only 1 strip connecting the P groups? What is the thickness of those? I have used 5 strips 0.2x1.0mm dimensioned for 50A current. The battery wires seem also very thin to support high currents as for 50-80A.

    Dolphin 17.25 ah, 50A, 70 cells build

Initially I did not manage to close the case due to the bastardly thick awg 10 wires. So the wires for charge and discharge goes outside the case. They are duct taped on the top of the case. Since the case is lacking bottom screws for keeping the halves together, there is also duct tape in the...

    Dolphin 17.25 ah, 50A, 70 cells build

Final mounting: Bike performs very well with this battery. 2000W on the LCD3 display. (~35A with kunteng controller, rated max to 60A). Torque provoking wheelies. Max speed: 58 km / h. Battery range is >30km mixed driving.

    Dolphin 17.25 ah, 50A, 70 cells build

Yes, I have seen them quite recently. But they were not on sale when I ordered my cases. Here is the whale fitting 65 cells. http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/48V-or-36V-electric-bicylce-battery-storage-box-and-e-bike-down-tube-battery-case-with/1816683_32694174743.html

    Dolphin 17.25 ah, 50A, 70 cells build

This is the 14S5P battery with 50A BMS. The charging wires are also awg 10 because I did not have anything else at the moment, The charger will charge battery at 6A.

    Dolphin 17.25 ah, 50A, 70 cells build

This build is an attempt of modification the standard dolphin case to fit 70 cells. The case normally holds max 54 cells having 48-52V configuration. The goal is to get 14s5p (52V) configuration with large 50A BMS fit into the case giving 17.25 ah capacity. This battery will feed MXUS 3000 V3...

HCX-d131 without on and off switch

Hi I have been reading few posts about people trying to install on/off switch on the DCX-d131. But I did not manage to find information what happens if this BMS is run without switch. Do I really need to have a switch? What happens if this BMS is on 24/7 ? What happens if BMS switches off...

Feasible to run a 48V/35A output to high end Mxus 4T motor?

4T is MXUS 4504 I am running at the moment my MXUS 4T on 48V, 11mah battery with no problems with 12FET 30-60A controller. I only run this on 40A mode (of 20/40/60 selectable), since when I ride on 60A mode the battery 30A fuse melts in few sec. The speed I am achieving with this 48V battery...

    MXUS 3000 caliper clearance

molybdenum I have now tested the skeleton brakes. They perform "OK" I would say. I was expecting to squeeze less to lock the wheel. I had to press rather hard on asfalt since I have 2.35" rear. But also in general, the squeeze feeling is like mechanic brakes, but just better braking. I don't...

    Where to do spotwelding?

Hi Guys I went to my friends flat, having an old fashioned very slow 16A melting fuse. It was working, 12p & highest current welding 2x 0.2mm nickel strips on 18650 batteries. So good results :) I did blow one fuse when I turned on machine at one occasion. But I was playing around for 1 hour...

    MXUS 3000 caliper clearance

I have now implemented my next 4 steps and achieved the clearance of 0.5 mm at the thickest part of the motor. I have also put the cable backward and it is much better not fearing cable will touch the rotor. (see pic). Final implementation details: Instead of extra 0.8mm shim , I went with 1.0...

    Where to do spotwelding?

The main is on 25A and very costly to upgrade. I live in typical Swedish chain houses were 4-6 houses are connected. I am not confident to influence any wiring in the new constructed house in case something goes wrong. I will try to investigate garages which allow charging of electrical cars...

    MXUS 3000 caliper clearance

Yes. I think I will go for such set of 8. My next steps would be Turning motor 180 degree and putting cable to the back Adding additional shims 4*0.2 mm between motor and disc Getting longer rotor screws since to get through total shims of 2.3+0.8mm Extra 1-2mm spacer towards the fork
