    Sorry Wayne, the 3 thin wires red,black and blue between the main battery connections shown in your photo. I'm trying to understand how the throttle is powered from the battery without going through the controller. Do these wires run to the motor?

    That motor/controller you linked to looks more like needing 30/40 amp from your battery. At the speed you want to reach you will need to look at 72v battery minimum, if the controller will take it. If you have hills to climb, then DD motors are not always the best option.

    I have used an imax b6 for most of my battery testing and I would say I've seen pretty close to full capacity down to 3 volts, but worth you doing the same with some other cells for a comparison.

    Did you fully charge them before discharge test? Your bms and/or controller will cut power around 3v, so you won't be able to use the remaining capacity down to 2.5v.

    BMS Batteries sell the 36v 500w controllers. You will need a 48v battery if you want to run a 48v controller.
