    What do you mean by Neugart is design for an outboard motor? What type of model do you use? When I speaked with one of their reseller in my country he told me their gearboxes PLE040 are designed for input speed below 10000.

    For the microcontroller I would suggest the ESP32 as it has built in bluetooth and wifi. You could still use your Arduino IDE software to program it.

    What type/size of cables do you using from the ESC to the motor? I bought 10 AWG but when I received the TPPower motor I notice that they are much smaller. Could it be silver that reduce the need for wider diameter? According to the spec it could take 109 amps.
