The BEST and FIRST Qulbix Raptor mid-drive build!

I want to order a kit with the new motor for my EEB. What is the top speed now with the new higher RPM motor? Have you gone to using a larger rear sprocket to increase torque since the motor is now able to spin 3000RPM higher than before?

    Sabvoton controller set up

I had a look and saw that the file had a flag beside it for some reason in Google Drive. I have removed and re-uploaded the file. Have a look and see if you can find it now. When I go to the share link and navigate down to the p7 folder it appears there for me even when not signed in to Google drive

    New 4800W Cyclone?

This is the bike I will be converting yes. The kit is supposed to just be a swing arm swap out and then I have to wire up the motor. I didn't want to drop another $4000 USD ($5200 CAD as I am Canadian) on another bike nor do I have the room. Believe me I'd love to! Ill be comparing my experience...

    New 4800W Cyclone?

Currently I'm running a QS 205 3T at 72V 120A battery, 240A phase in 19" moto rims(just under 26" tall with tires) and my top speed without field weakening is right around 100kmh. I am running 2.75-19 Shinko 244 tires front and rear. For suspension I have a DNM USD-8 front fork (200mm travel)...

    New 4800W Cyclone?

I currently have an order in with them for a 7.5kw swing arm kit with 9 speed pedal gears for my EEB frame. Should be shipped out within a week or two. I will definitely be reporting on the performance and how well put together the kit is! As for them not responding - I definitely had issues...

    My design for a 100Ah 7.2V module

I'm interested in how these cells perform. How are you handling the cooling with liquid phase change material. You said details below but just had pictures. Definitely want to see how you're planning on cooling the cells

Nucular electronics - complete kit for ev!

How long is the cable from the controller to the display? Will be mounting the controller to the bottom of my EEB frame and want to make sure the cable will be long enough or if I need to order a longer one or if I am to just make my own.

Nucular electronics - complete kit for ev!

Well after reading through all 31 pages of this thread it's safe to say I'm really wanting to pick up one of the 24F controllers. Has anyone had a chance to test these controllers with the Cyclone motors? Particularly the 7.5kw and 18kw variants? I've ordered a custom swing arm from Cyclone...

    Cyclone 7.5KW Enduro Ebike Swingarm

I have not seen these Nucular controllers before! They look like a very good option and seems like it would be the perfect controller. Finished reading all 31 pages. Controllers look promising and like a god choice. Going to contact them! Thanks for the suggestion!

    Cyclone 7.5KW Enduro Ebike Swingarm

Finally got a reply from Paco and arranged to send a bank transfer. So that's been sent and I should be receiving a swing arm kit with the 7.5kw Cyclone motor. Lead time is 3 weeks so I'll have to continue to wait but at least its been ordered now. It looks like I won't be able to use the...

    Cyclone 7.5KW Enduro Ebike Swingarm

I live in Canada. Yah, my guess is the address wasn't matching properly so my card was declined by the bank because of the mis-matched address informations. I asked about Paypal or some other payment method and got no response on that either.

    Cyclone 7.5KW Enduro Ebike Swingarm

So I ended up getting a reply by changing my subject line and saying I want to buy it. They sent the invoice and when I attempted to pay for the kit my card was declined. They sent another invoice and declined again. I asked him to send me another and I will contact my bank to get them to allow...

    Cyclone 7.5KW Enduro Ebike Swingarm

Hmm okay. I have a Sabvoton SVMC72150 controller currently but was thinking of going to a BAC 2000 depending on how well it works with the Sabvoton. I've emailed then on another email account that doesn't have my name attached to it say I want to buy one of the kits so hopefully I get a response...

    Cyclone 7.5KW Enduro Ebike Swingarm

I don't see how they'd think I'm wasting their time or don't mean business since my last email I sent to them before they stopped responding was literally I'll buy one with a non-freewheeling motor. I'll wait and see if they end up responding. Thanks though. Nice to know they are legit

    Cyclone 7.5KW Enduro Ebike Swingarm

I recently found http://www.cyclone-tw.com/ after watching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6B5-j6M9ywc. Basically its a Cyclone motor inside a custom swing arm for an Enduro Ebike frame. This allows for a left hand drive and a 9 speed cassette/freewheel for pedaling. I emailed them and...

    A low-cost e-MTB Production log

Yah it looks similar to the Neematic so very possible they're working with them on it. I'm definitely with you on that about the price. I doubt it'll be anywhere near the $1000-$2000 price range that this is supposed to be. This bike will be a lot more competitive with its quite low price.

    A low-cost e-MTB Production log

Looks like Ubco just unveiled a bike that looks identical to the bike you're building. The Ubco FRX1. Unless this is from you unveiling it!? https://electrek.co/2019/09/06/ubco-frx1-electric-trail-bike-50-mph/amp/

    Largest capacity for battery packs??

I have a 72V 53AH (20S10P Boston Swing 5300 cells) pack in my EEB frame (3.8kwh!!!!!). I run it at 120A continuous as my cells are rated at 13A each continuous. I did about 65km on 25AH and that was fast hard riding of average 40km/h and sprints of over 60km/h for stretches and even top speed...

Regenerative braking + fully charged battery

There are multiple factors. If your controller can't handle the higher voltage produced by the regen you could blow things in the controller such as capacitors. If the BMS does not have a way to cut power when it senses cell over voltages then you will damage/destroy your battery cells as they...

    EEB parts and support info

Suspensions travel is not hindered at all. I used the two tie downs on the fork guards to attach so nothing is sticking past those guards.

    EEB parts and support info

I've done it! I recently purchased a 3D printer and have designed a front fender mount for the Mudhugger front fender on the USD-8 fork. In my excitement to put it on and test fit it I didn't take any pictures of it fresh off the printer :P . Was using a fast print setting and a thicker layer...

    Sabvoton controller set up

You can't use the current unlock software to change anything other than that one switch for current unlock. So once you click okay you go back to the regular controller software and you should be able to make the change. Are you using the regular software to try and make the change after? If...

    Sabvoton controller set up

I do not know how high of RPM the Sabvoton can go so unfortunately I can't help there. I noticed you have the DC current limit set to 5A. Maybe try increasing that a bit? I'm thinking it might not be getting enough current to be able to move the motor smoothly.

    Sabvoton controller set up

What are your settings like? There are settings for rated, max, and protected phase current in the MQCON software. For obvious reasons the protected phase current should be higher than the rated and max phase currents.
