TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Well Casainho's response sounded like "I will not change anymore from 850c" and "3 keys are enough" - the first is something I'm fine with, the latter is undoubtly true. I just missed the changing from "no other than 850c" to "maybe". It was 'nt my intention to be unconstructive here. It was...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Not that I noticed. I have a 48V Batt on the 36V Motor formerly powered by 24 Volt. Works without Issues since a week and really is a beast ;-) Propelled with 800 Watts is special :P But you can limit that a bit in favour for driving range and heat building. As I understood some talk until...

Sorry that I messed the question by posting this different 5-Buttons Display. I'm totally fine with 850c, I already ordered one at nort pole. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFgPicwIbf8) But if I find out about the pin where to solder my fourth key, I don't drop the idea.

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Just think about a short press for light und a short press for walk assist. There are more possible 2-Button Combinations. Offroad mode could be even a little stealthier. And a good way to overcome your 200 Clicks "change the battery"-setup (One Key as digit modifier during the setup). This...

And what about the idea of havin the 4-keys pad of the LCD 5 on the Bafang Display? Nobody else hoping for the advantage of one more key?

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Well, almost everyone of us have a 4-key pad cutted from the LCD 5 at home. Using that, is a 25% higher bandwidth in User Interaction: -faster Walkmode -faster Light -four keys to navigate the setup. (Like in older Lumix-Cams) -- much better than 3. (well this could be done via UART and...

Ok, problem came from a sort of dirty flashing. No problem anymore after reflashing / blanking. But Long press mode is still a good idea... :)

BTW. It sounds more and more like it will change to another (color or bluetooth) display. Wich one is it?

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Just tested 0.16. Overall driving impression was perfect. No lags, I could easily hit 40km/h in High Cadence Mode - and that with a 24V Battery, usually causing a significant power loss in higher cadences. But I have Issues, mainly because of the default values. I even resetted to factory...

Did exactly the same. (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3124976). Using the same connection with the (meanwhile) working gear shift sensor.

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Trying to mount the Bafang Gear Shift Sensor, and it seems to work.* But when connected, the Display gets unreadable dim. I followed the instruction for the hidden break wire sensor to get the necessary 5V - from the programmer pin. But despite of the Bafang Gear Sensor only using 0.01W, it...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Believe it or not, but I don't have the eyes glued to the display. It took me a lot of days to realize, that Odometer is still zero after all that rides... Just want to have it like it was on 0.12. Tried to install that cygwin/gcc/eclipse stuff, but right now, I'm stuck in "no gcc sdcc g++ in...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Just flashed the 14.3 and something happens to the Offroad mode. Whatever I write in 7.1, it's activated on startup. And another thought on offroad mode: 0.0 has a limit (default 50km/h) and there is another limit in 7.2. With activated option offroad mode, this two should be switched, so that...

No problem. For the fun I have with that motor under that software, I'm willing to do some mine-finding-dog job ;-) That you will bring this part of code to the tongsheng also very soon? Pleeeaaase...!

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Sorry for the dead controller (but you've written it in a funny way), but if you'd used the default setting for "Motor assistance startup without pedal rotation" (configuration menu 8.1) you, the bike, battery and tree would be fine and without rotating pedals there should be no watts pumping at...

And an Issue wich can kill your controller - -and all whats needed is to forget to switch off. (Wich I did, and it cooked mine because of a failing switch on my old battery). And so it happened: I leaned the bike against a tree, pressed the switch on the battery and left for two hours. After I...

So that's the issues of 0.13 List: -Soc in temp field, works, but strange behavior. -Offroad skipping speed limit does not work -Menu 8/2 Pas requiered/not requiered makes no difference (but I'm not quite sure what is to expect here) Guess I'll have to try 0.12 now. Display flashing should be...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

I made another field session, and suddenly there was the right SOC(? Batt usage in %) in the temp field. So I switched it off - gone. Switched it on - still gone, but after a while and some clicking, it was there. So it's fine with me, althought I could not find out the scheme of screen...

With me, with offroad mode enabled but switched off, Bike exceeds the 25 km/h. Still. Also, "Battery Charge in the Temperature Field" enabled, shows nothing there. So if that works with you but not with me, what could be the problem? Still using 24V Battery Pack.

Well... This time it's no Yes or No. I am able to build a little code with the Arduino, but it's quite another thing to hack a device; come to some sort of bootloader, finding out how you get graphics onto the display. And I actually never did graphics with an arduino. Making some sort of...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

The KT LCD3 is probably best for programming, but not good as a display: -Only 3 keys -very limited tiltable (cables in the way). -It is so exposed, that if you want to put your bike upside down, you really have to care (if not to dismount) your Display. -no good place for socket holes for the...

I think there is no option to set lights voltage on original firmware -- I think it is not possible. True. Checked the Original Manual again and a video. Don't know where the idea came from that this was something changeable. Not even display brightness is changeable with original with LCD5...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Hi, Is there a way to set the voltage of the Lights? Seems that was configurable in original firmware, but if there is one in the config, I did not found. Or can such things be done via setting a data field with STLink? Thanks again, Erik
