    range/power boost Stingray electric

I don't know -- maybe the controller is wired wrong? That kinda sounds like when you get 2 of the 3 phases wrong....

    Advice for my moped battery

Are you 6 volt? Tomos are 12 volt. They are standard 35/35 (low/high) headlights, I use a 45/45. Then you got the rear running light, 4 turn signals, and the brake light. Stock: 4 x 10 watt bulbs for the turn signals (Only 2 at a time) 1 x 10 watt running light 1 x 20 watt brakelight 1 x...

    Advice for my moped battery

I also see some 24v to 12 volt vicor dc to dc converters on ebay... a 100watt unit isn't too bad, but then you still have the heavy current draw. I'm betting using 2 or 3 - 7ah sla's will work (only have one 10ah). The only downside is the weight. I'm even thinking of maybe just running the...

    Advice for my moped battery

I have a tomos moped. The magneeto (alternator) is very "dirty" produces AC which is rectified to DC and its output fluctuates with RPM so its never actually 12 volt (or 14.4 really). The magneeto couldn't handle the 45 watt headlight (and run the engine and anything else) so I disconnected...

Infineon has REGEN BRAKING (and more)

I took them with a "elmo" at work, its for projecting paper like and old overhead projector... I added the programming header -- I always do that so if I ever need to fiddle with it I don't have to stop and add it later. the one all the way to the right is a LM317T Others are P60NF06 I also...

Infineon has REGEN BRAKING (and more)

Forgetting regen for now... So if I removed R12 at the pad and get a 4k ohm resistor and run it to ground and set the lvc in the software to 20.1 I'll get somewhere around 28.5 LVC? I'm sorry but I'm confused when you say hook a 2880 resistor in parallel with the 1200 one thats there. My...

Infineon has REGEN BRAKING (and more)

The board is definately different than the one in the pic posted, I was hoping they simply used smaller rated components... I'll get a picture tonight when I get home. As far as the LVC -- the software goes from 30.5 directly down to 22.5 -- The lowest I'd want to go would be 29 or 29.5...

Infineon has REGEN BRAKING (and more)

Guys, I bought a 36v 350watt (25amp) from e-crazyman as a backup to my normal controller. I guess its a infineon. Board is a "EB806". It has the programming port. Is there anything of interest that I can change with the config program? I'm not looking to mod the heck out of it or...

OFF TOPIC quick and dirty hall throttle replacement???

I'm still working on getting my electric reel mower working... after trying direct drive, then chain, I've finally decided on using a 24v 100 watt motor off a razor e100 scooter with a htd 3mm timing belt for the drive system... It still spins way too fast but the rpms are better at 40 % or...

    range/power boost Stingray electric

Yep ran it as is. simply found another 12 ah battery wired it into the pack. It went 5-7 mph faster with better torque... I've since switched to a better controller and am still using the motor at 36 volts with no problems... over 500 miles...

    range/power boost Stingray electric

I have a stingray electric... Its a brushless motor. Schwinn tried to save some money and had the engineers design it to be either 24 or 36 volt. The battery "engine" has room in it for a third battery and the controller works with it too. The motor is also the same motor that the company...
