    With respect to my own failed controller, the MLCC failed to the top right of the AMS1117 5V regulator. Shorted and caused a "Communications Fault".

    Not in the direction he's cut the wood. Also the number of layers strengthen the wood even more so it's even more difficult for the wood to expand laterally. In the humid air the wood will swell and the layers may well split. Maybe removing the sleeves on the cells will help enough but you will...

    Yes, I mean in Section B. FYI: 202 = 20(+2 zeros) so 2000R. Do you have very sharp probes? You should be reading a voltage on the resistors as they are connected to each series set. Have you fully pushed the connector together because it looks clearly out to me.

    The soldering on the balance connector looks horrific. Can you check you have voltage on the 2kR resistors. Also the connector is out slightly. Push it back in.

    A 60dB bell isn't going to work when traffic is 80dB and the drivers are enclosed in their own sound-dampening enclosure.
