New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Okay, made it. The 36v factory setup doesn't work with 48v battery. (probably voltage is too high according to the preset and controller doesn't allow the motor to engage). Tested it with 36V battery. Very cool. Vitus Dee 29ER with Shimano nexus 3 speed hub (22 cog at the backwheel), 14,2ah...

    GNG / CYC X1 Pro 3000w

This is the first kit that gives you a choice between chain transmission from the motor and gear. I had an experience with GNG2 450W kit, and Ii was very disapointed by the build quality and the design. For the chain transmission models they have a chain tensioner, a small wheel (derailer...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Solved. Indeed neded needed to increase a bit the hole of the bracket. Here is what I used: (construction store) 8Euro Initial diameter was around 40-45mm, but can be compressed to 33mm. In combination with a drill will make you happy.

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Hi I'm pretty sure I'm not the first one to have this problem to mount the kit. I have the frame with the standard (ISO/English or BSC (British Standard Cycle) sometimes incorrectly referred to as BSA) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bottom_bracket#Sizes bottom bracket The kit axe inserts very...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Crun, thanks a lot for this input. I'm not looking for power, rather for a reasonable level of assistance, so I do not sweat when I come to work. As a normal cyclist I like to keep my cadance high. (I still have to decide on the gearing of my bike with nexus 3 hub as I have for my commute 60% of...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Thanks andyme. Indeed the FAQ concerning 4 versions will be very very helpful ( a sort of comparison table concering hardware: motor, controller and different compatibility like 13cell compatible or not, weight). Here is an example of what would be helpful for me: Thanks for the attachment...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Thanks, this answer makes me look a bit stupid but i still don't find what i'm looking for: for example here: https://github.com/OpenSource-EBike-firmware/TSDZ2_wiki/wiki/Usage-and-configuration-of-firmware-version-0.14.x#8_Various This tells me that two motor types exists, and probably 36V...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Hi guys, I broke a GNG2 motor (an awful piece of equipement) a couple of years ago but recently i decided to renew my e-bike experience with Bafang already thinking how I'll mess with the PAS settings to mimic a torque sensing when I accidentally found TSDZ2 kit. It is now obvious that i'll go...
