    solved. I changed to a higher discharge battery of 100a and 72v and controller heat goes normal warm only. Motor also cooled down. Running on 84v gets more speed and even lower temperature on the controller but motor heats up damn fast. Changed motor to 100v rating and temperature goes down.

    Modifying a shunt with controlled results

    what we do in our country is get a china yuyangking 80a controller, 84v 15ah LGHG2 or Sony VTC battery pack, 12inch 1600w HM motor, and we are able to do 110 km/h on GPS. No need shunt, no need mod motor. Want more torque, we just increase battery pack discharge simply by pararrel 2 battery packs.
