New conversion project for Piaggio Zip 50

No, it reads about 19ohm and it is shorted to ground (multimeter beeps). So I will have to disconnect all the 5v components? Could this thing have damaged other things like bluetooth module or other 5v powered? I am seriously worried.

    ASI BAC8000 help wiring

Yes, disconnected cables. Yes the wiring was poorly produced by the supplier. The display is always produced by him I don't know if it has a brand, at startup it shows the Bull Bike logo of the seller.

    ASI BAC8000 help wiring

There is a GND ground (PIN 15 of controller) to the display, two 12v PINs (PIN 16 of controller), TTL RX (PIN 13 of controller) and TTL TX (PIN 3 of controller). The problem in my opinion is the wiring to the Throttle connector and Brake connectors.

New conversion project for Piaggio Zip 50

I bought the monitor together with the controller from the same seller who declares it for ASI so up to 90v theoretically. The strange thing is that the controller conserves energy even if completely disconnected from the batteries. Is this normal? If I try to discharge the battery it should...

New conversion project for Piaggio Zip 50

Hi, unfortunately I can't use these conversion kits because I want to use the original Piaggio transmission. The other time it was a chain with two sprockets (428); this time it's belt driven HTD-8M-25mm with two pulleys. The total reduction ratio is always the same (4.25:1) but this time I used...

New conversion project for Piaggio Zip 50

Hello everyone, after a long period of absence I am trying to complete my electric scooter (Piaggio Zip SP 50). In the past I used a 72v 56Ah battery, QS 138 90H 4kW motor and Votol EM150SP controller. At the moment my new project is based on an ASI BAC8000 controller (which I bought from Martin...

Noob installing kelly controller, whats a precharge circuit?

Hello, I just bought an ASI Bac8000 controller and it requires a precharge circuit. I would like to automate the exclusion of the resistor once the main relay is turned on. So could it be okay? Can I use a 5 pole 12v relay taken from a car or will it burn out? Do ANL fuses also exist for 72v or...

    Votol EM-100 & EM-150 controllers

ok, i will not buy a EM200. i think we still use an EM150SP. They also suggested an ASI BAC4000 or BAC8000 but I can't find informative material and manuals of these controllers. Before buying I would like to know how to configure them from a PC, have the wiring diagram and above all know all...

    Votol EM-100 & EM-150 controllers

It was already set up like this by the seller. What does activating the HDC (and HDC Low 6000) entail? Unfortunately the ASI controller I have just seen and it costs a lot, with customs taxes in Italy it would cost about € 620, with that amount (even less) I bought the EM150SP + QS138 90H 4kW...

New conversion project for Piaggio Zip 50

Thanks for your support and encouragement. As for the choice of the scooter, I am "obliged" to use the Piaggio Zip because it is electric approved and I run no risk if the police stop me. I made two years ago an electric Aprilia SR50R with 4kW motorbike HUB 13"(but it worked maximum at 2400W...

New conversion project for Piaggio Zip 50

I contacted the seller of the controller and motor kit but undaunted he claims that all the damage was due to the battery and the fuse which he said did not work. All he deduced by looking at the photo of the burned scooter in which you can see the frame and little else. How he came to draw this...
