    Hall spacing for 6 pole 27 slot motor

    Can anyone help where to place the halls for such a motor? I tried the mercedes but it's awful. My guess is tho that it should be placed 40 mech degrees apart that is every 3 slots because the my 1020 also uses 40 mechanical degrees spacing for the 6 pole motor. Am i figuring it well?

    I have many votols and never had any problems with them (i mean not that couldnt be resolved) that's why i trusted it. It's not against votol more against the seller. Like why cant they hook it to a motor for 20 seconds and see if it works or not? Not saying to do it with 50 dollar controllers...
