    Unfortunately with M510 and M560 it is no longer possible to change maximum speed on the fly, you have to turn the controller off and on every time. I doubt that in BLE via diaplay you can send these configurations, you would need a custom diaplay.

    A clarification, you can change the controller of an M600 with an M500, M510 and M560 have a different torque meter so they should be incompatible with each other. Has anyone checked this?

    Fixed M600 controllers not updating. The newer controllers have BOOT 93 while the older ones have BOOT 89 and are not compatible with each other. The firmwares are recognized by the first hexadecimal code which can be 89 or 93. The new firmwares have settable levels through the application...

    Sorry, not P+ but the terminal called VCC or KEY. You recognize it because it is the only wire with voltage when the controller is off.

    If you connect VCC+ with GND, the controller turns on in BESST mode. If you connect VCC+ with GND via resistor of 1 ohm for a few seconds, the controller turns on and off.

    I bought a controller on aliexpress for the M600 motor, connected it to the BESST interface and with BESSTPRO software, it amazingly reads and writes parameters like in the new M510. Strangely the controller has no serial number.

    You could develop a mode on your display that keeps the level at 0 if it does not exceed the 200w measured by the torque sensor.
