QS6kW hub Suzuki gsxr with Kelly issues

"Looked like spam" Nice to read that ZeroEm. Let me explane. First thing is to repare your power pack and check cells. Reparing is one thing. But I suppose you don't want to have the same issue twice. It looks like your power pack is not adapted to the curent you are pulling. I see two...

QS6kW hub Suzuki gsxr with Kelly issues

Checking your celles is probabbly the best way to go. I wouldn't change voltage cut of neither. @ ZeroEm Adding capacitors can be interresting to handle current peaks. Not to power the hole bike. I put small capacitors with low ESR over each mosfet of the esc to protect them from voltage peaks...

You could add capacitors If Ri is low enouth the voltage of your Li cells should not drop that hard. https://geothunder.com/capacitor-powered-electricbike/

    10Kw street bike

I tried to weld an aluminium swing arm but my welding skills are crap. More conforatble with G-code (cnc) The good thing is that I can change parts and the géometry without having to start all over.

    10Kw street bike

I mooved the thread here. So it's a project where I don't aim speed but a lightweignt bike that can do some distance and reasonable speed 40 to 60 mph I geared down the 130KV motor 50/100 and worked on the frame. Not yet satisfied with the design but globaly it's geting this direction.

    10Kw street bike

Importent is - Reynold number http://physiquecira.free.fr/CoursPhys/colebrook/ReynoldsCalculateur.htm 2m bike 25m/s air 20°C ->Re= 3 333 443 - Percentage of laminar airflow. That's where the fairing is helping. Let's say Cx=0.1 if the bike is 1.5m high and 0.5m whide, we get (30N)->750W...

    10Kw street bike

I want to make a "reasonable" bike, so 40mph in about 5 seconds and go to a top speed of 60mph is enouth for me. Weight is importent because it increases the time you have high curent for acceleration. Regarding aerodynamic It's compromices betwean confort, control and performances. I'm used...

    10Kw street bike

I looked for tronger 17" wheels. Difficult to find any thing under 20kg. But I'ts not a race bike at all. The goal is lightweight and aerodynamic to reduce consumption. Here is a project that inspired me.

    10Kw street bike

The project is rather a moped than a motorbike. For the sprokes I thought of 2.5mm The hubs are rather thick so looks coherent to me. I found this fairing. Wanted it to be thin so I can put my knees close together.

Nice build Overclocker I like the tube in the swing arm where the suspention is pushing on. My project should be heavyer, cells + fairing etc. Ok you both convinced me about the limits of the tires I chose!

    10Kw street bike

    I didn't aim more than 90km/h But you are surely right bicicle tires whon't hold the speed. If I beleave Ri and Io given here: https://alienpowersystem.com/shop/brushless-motors/120mm/12090-outrunner-brushless-motor-130kv-15000w/ @ 50.52A : 50,37V 2 546W 6 548rpm 266,8Ncm...

    10Kw street bike

Yes. It's a motor for rc planes. Rated 10Kw constant and 18Kw max. I will make a water cooling for the stator to protect the magnets from overheating. The esc has already a cooling system. From my experience it's better for the mosfets to push a small motor than to have high curent peaks with...

    10Kw street bike

I don't use rear break muck. Motor break could be enouth. I Only use the rear when the front is sketshy or to tighten turns. The motor is small so it shoud fit there. I might use an old frame to start with. Motor might be lower, half way under the swingarm. As long as the weigth is close to the...

    10Kw street bike

Hello every one. I'm new here and posting to share and have advices. So here is a 10Kw street bike project I'm working on.
