    Thanks for reply. My controller is 150A so 200 would be more than enough. I am trying to understand what the dimensions of these are. You are saying to just buy one of the modules and use all 3 cells inside it?

    It's a basic 72V (supposedly 45Ah) battery pack. I would reuse the BMS that it came with. Controller is Votol EM 150. If I get 20 "new" cells I would just rebuild it in the same box with the same BMS and wiring.

    Yes I am using 100A controller and my BMS is a 100A as well, but still shouldn't that be enough for a 5000W motor. I have a 72V battery 40Ah. What's the deal with unlocking the controller? Is it something one can do at home or it's a new controller purchace?
