    Well, good luck with solving, measuring, and metal carving. If nothing else, it'll be unique. But, the quote, "that way madness lies" comes to my mind. If you're interested in bicycle drivetrain experimentation, IMO that's not the frameset to play on.

    @technotony007, have you considered the 3X3 Nine hub, which is available 148mm thru axle (but not 28 spoke drilling)? Similarly, either of the Kindernay hubs? These are true thru-axle hubs, unlike the Enviolo or the Rohloff which use bolts and spacer adapters, AFAIK.
