    Thanks Elinx - the spindle is not broken but it is slightly bent and one of the bearings is not sitting tight enough on the spindle. What I am observing when riding the bike uphill is a noise when pushing down the left pedal. Will see if I can order a new one and fit two bearings instead of one...
