    Nanjing far driver controllers

Anyone here using an Encoder version of a fardriver? In otherwords, the B variant at the end of the PN. At least, my understanding is the B variant should support incremental encoders.. But the ND72680B I have only seems to work with in hall effect mode.. Is there something special about...

    Fardriver ND72680B Encoder Help

I can confirm that the TLE5012B in hall mode set to 4 pole pairs DOES work with the ND72680B! @amberwolf looks like phase offset was determined automatically. Well, unfortunately running the controller in Enocoder mode (sin/cos or incremental) has been fruitless.. I guess the question is does...

    Fardriver ND72680B Encoder Help

@amberwolf thank you for confirmation on the pole pair setting. There is a phase offset setting which I've read will also be updated from a successful autolearn. 🤞 I am having a hell of a time configuring the TLE5012B, but also I realize that there is no way to permanently store the pole...

    Fardriver ND72680B Encoder Help

I don't think this unit can.. motorc/Bluetooth app only reports two phase currents and for motor angle selection there is not a disable, just various hall/encoder settings. omg I have this exact same motor! I just today got it "jiggling" as well in hall mode .. I was just reading the datasheet...

    Fardriver ND72680B Encoder Help

it does not work! controller throws an error and nothing else. the only setting that appears to even monitor the motor inputs (hall a, b, c) is the setting 0-120HALL, the default setting '1-encoder' (or any other setting) does not. I ordered the part to build a another version of this tle5012...

Thank you for this! MotorcEnglish2023SCOM.exe stopped working for me after connecting with new bluetooth application...

Does any have an encoder version of Fardriver (ND72680B in my case) and have an idea what the P signal would be used for on the Encoder?

    Fardriver ND72680B Encoder Help

After failing to get sin/cos encoder working, I've built a replacement using the TLE5012B1000E which is an incremental 4096 resolution encoder; which the ND72680B *should* support.

    Fardriver ND72680B Encoder Help

Hello @absense209 I was not able to get the sin/cos encoder to interface with the ND72680B, however am in the process of converting the encoder to incremental (TLE5012E1000).

Fardriver controller serial protocol reverse engineering

Ah bummer, wonder if the can transceiver just was omitted or purely fw.. Measure on the oscilloscope so be sure

Oh if you have not seen this library it looks to describe the packets you are interested in on UART

@E-Andreas have you any experience with the CAN-bus interface on the Fardriver controller?

Fardriver controller serial protocol reverse engineering

Anyone have experience with the CAN bus output? My controller claims to have it configured and enabled, but I get nothing on CANH/L I think that if CAN is really supported it would be a better option for interfacing with MCU compared to UART (depending on situation of course). Ive done some...

    Fardriver ND72680B Encoder Help

Hello, new to the space but seems like the right place... I purchased a ND72680B from ebay seller, I requested sin/cos encoder support and this was the version I was advised to get. Unfortunately the documentation I can find (ebay seller pointed me to facebook group) all shows the wiring of...
