BBS-FW: Open Source Firmware for BBSHD/BBS02 Controller

That's basically what the new 'Global Speed Limit' does. Apparently it's intended to remap the walk mode to the throttle :/

BBS-FW: Open Source Firmware for BBSHD/BBS02 Controller

I know this sounds obvious but make sure the cable is pushed all the way in to the display port socket. This has caught me out a couple of times with different motors 🤦‍♂️

BBS-FW: Open Source Firmware for BBSHD/BBS02 Controller

I haven't looked at this for a few years now. But I think these should be the last config files I used. If not, let me know and I'll have another look ;)

BBS-FW: Open Source Firmware for BBSHD/BBS02 Controller

Yeah, it can be a pain to deal with every time you stop. I did this before with a VESC controller on an old bbs02 and I ended up just using a hair band on the brake when I stopped. Ideally you'd have a switch on your throttle... but that's beyond the scope of many people :/ But however you...

BBS-FW: Open Source Firmware for BBSHD/BBS02 Controller

Handy feature: You can set the throttle to idle ;)(y) If you set the throttle start voltage 'too low' then it will think the throttle is being pressed and will effectively idle. That is, it will turn the chainwheel at a minimum throttle level. The range for my bbshd is 860-878. Above this...

BBS-FW: Open Source Firmware for BBSHD/BBS02 Controller

Yeah, I'd have thought so too. Yet I have 2 displays, both working with stock fw, both not working with this :/ Does seem a bit strange. Yeah, both set to mph seems to limit the upper range of the number displayed to the imperial equivalent of 100kmh. Both set to kmh seems to work ok. Both...

BBS-FW: Open Source Firmware for BBSHD/BBS02 Controller

This is great! Thanks to @danielnilsson9 for coming up with this :) I've flashed 1.4 on a 36v bbs02 which seems to work... ish. But I can't really test this one atm. I've also flashed it on a 52v bbshd which I've been testing for a couple of days and it seems to be working great so far. I do...

KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW)

Hmm... ok, thanks. I must have the wrong idea about this formula as the figures I worked out were pants and gave me very low power. So is there anyway I can actually work out the correct value for calA? Or should I just settle for what seems to work ok? Yes. Yeah, it's just another motor...

KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW)

Hi all and thanks to everyone involved in this project. I flashed my old bmsbattery s12s with the fw and I'm using it with a bbs02 at 36v. I'm also using an hc-05 with the bluosec app. After a bit of initial fiddling, everything seems to be working quite well. Now that I'm fine tuning, I'd...
