    Just took a closer look at the torque sensor on one of the axles I had from destroying the transfer ring and it's occurred to me that the torque sensor itself is just a hall effect sensor reading the movement of the two little magnets. Am I correct here?

    You will need a freewheel on the chainring, so if your ISIS cranks have this you'll be able to use them.

    Yes the info here on E-S is why I bought the the TSD2Z originally. I am on my third torque sensor and the bb bearings are shot. I like that this Lightest unit allows me to use regular bb bearings and that it doesn't rely on a bb torque sensor. I am considering building a new frame around this...
