BBS02 report from Las Vegas Energie Cycles

True, but if you're using those gears, you want pure speed so you don't need the torque. I think the point is you can still get very high torque using low gear reduction, which is beneficial for the hills. I mean, that's the biggest reason to get a mid-drive anyway versus a hub motor.

What battery chemistry do you use? (Ver. 3)

Can someone explain what chemistry exactly LiPo is? I understand a battery has a cathode, electrolyte, and anode, but for the other Li-based options, the cathode material is specified (cobalt, LiFePO4, NMC, Mn). Does LiPo not use one of these cathode materials?

    New Bafang Crank-Drives

It doesn't look like this can be retrofitted on to a "standard" frame. In fact, the image on their website shows it built in to special frame: http://greentrans-eu.com/news_20140213.html

    New Bafang Crank-Drives

Cranks are 170mm. The problem is the chainring is separate from the right crank arm, but if you can find two individual crank arms (or tap out a left one to fit a right pedal), then you're good. It's a square taper spindle.

Assuming this is the trip odometer (versus total odometer), and you have the C961 display, hold down the power and minus buttons to reset. You can toggle between the trip and total odometers by pressing the power button.
