12-24Volt brushed DC motor controller.

Hey guys, I'm looking for a 12-24Volt brushed DC motor controller. It's for one of those little electronic cars that children ride in. My Niece’s little corvette that she’s had for many years, I felt needed some more speed so I added a 6-volt battery in series with the existing 12 Volt battery and it damaged the crappy controller. The speed control isn't variable on the car; it’s a simple on/off switch. A variable speed controlled controller wouldn't be a problem though, because I’ll just add a ramp up circuit in place of the variable resistor.

I could design a linear speed controller, but of course it wouldn't be nearly as efficient as a pwm controller and I don't want to go through all the trouble.

They are both fairly competitive options, and each makes a reliable product. Kelly has good customer service from my own experience and I see them used here more than Sevcon, but I have seen them used by people on the v is for voltage forums.
