21700 battery pack charging

I may be getting a 21700 pack from EM3EV but they emailed me to say that it is not compatible with the ST charger since it has no voltage signal in the charge port... and it is not directly compatible with the Grin Satiator without changing some settings... which I guess may have to be reset to work with other batteries like their 18650 cell Super Shark packs? What is this all about and should I skip the 21700 pack altogether? And what charger WILL work with these without futzing? @neptronix, didn't you test some of these new packs last year?

Edit: I heard back from EM3EV that this pack has a different type of BMS.
