however I don't really see why you need 4WD on a street board...2wd is actually too much power for most applications...

The only reason i can see it being useful is if you want to haul big loads.... 120kg+ riders up long hills... OR off road applications.

Yeah, I seen this one on vimeo about 3-4 months ago. Pretty nice but the 6KW is highly overrated. We definitely don't use nearly 1/3rd that power. We would need to be strapped to the board.

I pulled another skateboarder (aprox. 100kg) with one 6374 192kv motor for 10 miles. No overheating or any other issues. 4WD is not needed but it's cool to have it if u don't mind spending extra $$$.

Yup my buddy pulled me 6 miles and he had a single 63mm 245kv geared 2:1. I weigh 200lbs and he weighs 180.

Have to say the Fiik looks fast as hell and rides nice at speed though. 8)
